William Bright is an independent filmmaker whose interest in filmmaking began as his professional career in the Information Technology (IT) industry began to converge with the process of digital filmmaking. Resulting from his professional background in IT, William gained valuable experience in evaluating and deploying various hardware and software solutions designed for digital audio/video production.  During this time, William's interest and passion for filmmaking continued to grow.

William's initial exposure into filmmaking began as a freelance editor.  As his interest in. filmmaking continued to increase, he enrolled in the Entertainment Studies and Performing Arts Program at UCLA Extension in order to gain a broader perspective for the entire filmmaking process.  Upon completion of his studies, he was awarded Certifications in Film Directing, and Cinematography -- with distinction.

Since the completion of his academic training, William has Directed and Produced several independent short films which have all screened at various film festivals. William's interest is to continue to make films that address relevant social issues.
